December Secretary Report

Last meeting was held at the YMCA West at 3:25pm. Seventeen members were present and thirteen guests. The meeting was called to order by Shannah. The American pledge was led by Felicity, and Tomas led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was what you got in the gift exchange.

The Treasury was announced.

Upcoming Events/ New Business

*Discussed weather or not we would like to donate money to a 4-H foundation. Bryce motioned to donate $30, and Sarah seconded it.

*January 10^th is our workshop

*Find a Judge for fun show in March 16^th and 17^th

*Also Sandy (BBQ)

Jeff (Buns)

Wendy (Chips )

Kathy (Hotdogs)

*There will not be any Concessions on February 6^th and 7^th at NDSU

*Ordering Trophies and Ribbons for show was moved by Shannah, and seconded by Sam for May 16^th.

*January 9^th is the training for speech & expo

Important

4-H Rule was Discussed (when it comes to 4-H meetings a parent can not replace the child’s attendance they will still be considered absent. The child/ member must attend at least 5 meetings before participating in any 4-H shows. This was moved by Bryce and seconded by Megan.

Meeting was adjourned by Bryce and seconded by Shannah. Next meeting will be on January 10^th at noon in the Hartl building.
