March Secretary Report

            The last meeting was held on March 3, 2008 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. The meeting was called to order. The roll call topic was ‘What is your favorite type of music?’. The 4h pledge was read by Michaela and the American pledge was read by Bryce. Our treasurers report was read by Ally and our secretary’s report was read by Sam.

            New Business-

·        Variety Show and Carnival

-       Bruse’s are taking care of the carnival tickets

-       Need volunteers for booth

-       Work from 3 to 5

-       Set up is from 2 to 2:45 (Bruse’s and Metcalf’s are setting up)

-       Cierra Bachmeier is taking care of prizes for booth

-       Bring cake or cupcakes for cake walk

·        Triple C Horse show

-       Travis made a motion to make changes on show bill, Nicole 2^nd it

-       Michaela and Shannah will count the ribbons and trophies

-       Bryce motioned that trophies are wooden, Tina 2^nd

·        Heidi-patterns

·        Nicole-concessions

·        Sam-Arena

-       Club will buy new rule books

§         One per family

·        RRVF

-       Stalls are free Tuesday to Friday

-       Stalls must be kept clean and decorated

·        Achievement Days

-       Goat Tying has been added

-       Bareback Equitation will be broken into age groups

·        Minot

-       Brought up having two judges for 4h shows

Ally motioned to buy a leather kit and Tina 2^nd.

Connie is going to come up with idea for project day and leather making.

March demo’s are moved to Aprils meeting.
