May Secretary Report

            The May Triple C meeting was on May 5, 2008. It was held at the RRVF grounds. The kids were asked to come early to get the ribbons and paper work organized for the horse show. The 4H pledge and American pledge were said. Roll call was read. The secretary’s report was read by Sammy. The treasurer’s report was given by Ally.

            Last minute details for the horse show were discussed. Entry forms and numbers were handed out.  The members were asked to have the entry forms filled out prior to the day of the show.  All members were asked to be at the show ready to work by 7:30-8:00. The Saturday prior to the show, anyone who could make it was asked to meet at the fair grounds at noon for the set-up.

            A reminder was given that the horse ID forms were due on May 15 and the RRVF registration was due on May 28.

            Everyone who will be going to the State Fair were asked to bring ideas to the next meeting about how they would want to decorate the stalls this year.

            There was discussion about decorating stalls for the RRVF. If you plan to decorate the stalls, you must have your horses present at the fair Tuesday to Friday.

            The Triple C members will be working the 4H food booth at the RRVF on Thursday, June 19 from 11:00-2:30. Volunteers will be needed.

            The Triple C is needed for the RRVF clean-up on Sunday, June 22 from 5-8.  All Triple C members are needed.
